Sara McKiness

Sara McKiness at Meredith Manor, an equestrian university

I came to Meredith Manor in the fall of 2000 from St. Charles, Illinois. When I was 10 years old I was working on a Girl Scout badge for horsemanship and from then on horses were a passion for me. Before coming to Meredith Manor I had sporadically been involved with them for about 8 or 9 years. Knowing after high school I wanted to make horses a bigger part of my life, I did some Internet research into equestrian universities. This is how I found Meredith Manor. I graduated in spring of 2002 and I am currently working at Meredith Manor as a Graduate Assistant.

Update: Following graduation, Sara went to work for a Grand Prix Dressage trainer. She continued to teach and train while working under various trainers and now has her own successful training and teaching business in St. Charles, IL called Horse Logic.

Sara is a certified horse trainer who helps riders improve their communication with horses without punishment. She travels to local barns in Chicago and local areas and helps with any training or riding issues that clients may have. Sara will improve your relationship with your horse and allow you to communicate in a horse logical way!

Thank you to all the wonderful staff at Meredith Manor! I am the assistant barn manager and head junior instructor at Concord Ridge Equestrian Center, a brand-new facility here in Southwest Michigan. I impress my bosses everyday with the knowledge I gained from my time at the manor! And I must say school was a breeze compared to my work load now! I'm very thankful to have been prepared for it and prepared correctly! Thanks once again :)
