Meredith Manor Equestrian College Presents: Lurch

Feature horse Lurch loves his job in Meredith Manor Equestrian College’s english departments

Lurch, humorously known as the campus monument, is a sure stop on every tour of Meredith Manor Equestrian College's campus. Standing at 18.2 hands, this giant thoroughbred is the tallest horse at Meredith Manor, but what makes him so popular is his gentle disposition and love of being scratched.

When not fulfilling his role of local celebrity, Lurch works hard in Meredith Manor's Dressage and Jumping departments. He is now 11 years old and plans to spend the remainder of his career as a Meredith Manor Equestrian College school horse.

The progress we have seen in Erin's riding and other horse skills has been tremendous. She came to Meredith Manor without a significant amount of riding experience. Today she is a proficient rider, and the confidence she has developed in the care and training of horses is very satisfying for both of us.
