Feature Horse: Theo Casey

Theo Casey head shot

Our feature horse this month is Theo Casey. Casey is a twenty-year-old quarter horse stallion. He was successfully shown in reining competitions by graduate Steve Gilbert of Fountainhead Farm prior to becoming a school horse in Meredith Manor Horse College's western department.

Theo Casey has been a school horse at Meredith Manor for nearly 15 years now. Spins are his favorite reining move and he patiently helps the students get them right! Casey is a "sensitive guy" and enjoys lots of attention and treats.

The photos below show Theo Casey with his ribbons in several classes at Meredith Manor Showmasters end of quarter shows.

I had a great time at the Manor and really enjoyed my education there. More than anything I loved all of the riding theory we got there. They really care to tell you WHY you are doing what they are telling you to do. I love having the huge bank of knowledge that I was given at the Manor, and I would not trade that for anything.
